Provide high quality tertiary-level diagnostic services (Medical and Dental ) for the patients of Medident Pathalogy and Institute and other health care centers in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Develop sufficient manpower in the field of diagnostic to meet the requirement of all centers in the country with departments of Clinical Biological science by providing training to students/faculty of pathology &clinical Biology/ Medical surgery.
Develop innovative teaching methods and use information Technology to develop teaching modules for dissemination of knowledge and thereby enhance manpower.
Provide safe blood/blood components and therapeutic services (plasmapheresis) to patients round the clock.
Train and develop sufficient manpower in oral and medical technology, to meet the requirement of all the centers in the state of Nepal by enhance training methods and achieve excellence in training in medicine technology for the state of Nepal.
Promote active inter disciplinary research collaborations within the Institute and between Institutions to promote Biological research. Enhance quality of research in the broad field of oral and medical to keep abreast with the recent advances in the discipline and foster research temperament amongst medical and non-medical students.
Provide support and co-operation for Government initiatives including NDA National Rural Health Mission in achieving its objectives.
